With an L.L.B. (Hons) from the University of Kent and a DiplomaLaw (KSL), Mrs. Soni is a talented, professional and outspoken advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She acquired her extensive experience as an Associate with the renowned Firm of A.B. Patel & Patel Advocates in Mombasa before becoming a Partner at Muthee Kihiko Soni & Associates Advocates LLP in 2014. Mrs. Soni has also handled contested election petition matters involving the IEBC and others in Mombasa and Malindi.

As an expert in her field, Mrs. Soni has helped in the development of jurisprudence in areas such as the realization of securities, banks’ rights under hire purchase agreements, and receivership, liquidation, and winding up. She also provides general legal counsel and regulatory advice to various institutions to ensure protection and diligence while discharging their duties.

Mrs. Soni’s experience extends to representing clients before subordinate courts, judicial, administrative, and arbitral tribunals, the High Court, and the Court of Appeal. She also handles individual client claims, including trust-related claims, patent and/or intellectual property claims, conveyancing, and securities.

Additionally, she has successfully represented leading insurance companies, handling recovery claims and personal injury claims.
